Job summary

RealTruck Inc. in Mesquite, TX is seeking an Operational Team Lead to guide a production team, ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance.

You will balance hands-on supervision with strategic planning, coaching, and cross-training to elevate team capabilities. You will partner with leadership on scheduling, inventory monitoring, and process improvements, and act as the primary point of contact for operations staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or a combination of experience and education required.
• Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing and/or distribution setting with some leadership responsibilities required.
• 3-5 years in manufacturing and/or distribution setting with some leadership responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee the production team to achieve goals and maintain quality.
• Collaborate with leads and supervisors to enable cross-training and skill diversification.
• Implement work instructions to keep knowledge up-to-date and accurate.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production scheduler, and shipping to maintain inventory levels for all parts.
• Communicate maintenance issues and manage consumables replacements as needed.
• Serve as a positive leader and mentor, modeling desirable behaviors.
• Be the first point of contact for employees to address and resolve issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
