Job summary

Heil Environmental in Fort Payne, AL is hiring a Kitter to organize kitting to match load schedules and verify parts in the ERP system. You will work with production and material handling to keep kits accurate and on time.

You will operate forklifts, perform safety checks, and maintain an orderly work area while coordinating with the Fab department for timely delivery. Lift up to 40 pounds and occasional overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ERP systems and ability to read work orders.
• Basic arithmetic and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Experience with PC-based applications and office software.

Responsibilities

• Organize kitting based on load schedules and assess parts availability in ERP.
• Read work orders to determine kitting requirements and use ERP to confirm inventories.
• Prioritize kits and ensure materials are moved safely with forklifts.
• Maintain forklift safety certification and perform preventative checks on equipment.
• Support production needs; overtime may be required and coordinated by supervision.
