Job summary

Marathon Equipment in Vernon, AL seeks a Kitter to organize production kits based on load schedules and to determine parts availability using ERP. You will read work orders, coordinate with the Fab department, and manage materials for kit assembly.

This role requires forklift operation, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and strict safety adherence. Proficiency with Excel-based schedules and PC software is essential, with overtime possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads work orders to determine kitting requirements and uses ERP for parts availability.
• Ability to understand material lists, BOMs and load schedules.
• Must be able to operate forklifts and use basic PC software.

Responsibilities

• Observes safety regulations and reports unsafe conditions.
• Organizes kits based on load schedules and prioritizes work.
• Uses ERP to confirm parts availability and coordinates with Fab.
• Updates Excel load schedules and maintains labeling.
• Manages material movement with forklifts as needed.
