Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. in Milford, DE is seeking a Kit Assembler III focused on accurate and timely kitting to support production lines. You will work under the Shift Leader in the Kitting Department and may be flexed to other warehouse areas as needed.

The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and Lean principles while maintaining data in ERP systems and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is an on-site, full-time position with a strong emphasis on teamwork and quality.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication with supervisors, co-workers, and customers that is professional, concise, accurate and clearly understood.
• Demonstrate strong skills in initiative, problem solving, and working in a “team” environment.
• High level of product knowledge of BAC’s numerous models and parts.
• Demonstrated ability to operate JIB cranes; certification required.
• Knowledge of lean principles and ability to support root cause analysis for quality issues.
• Familiar with ISO procedures for area of assignment to ensure quality.
• Ability to read production schedules and related paperwork.
• Ability to use handheld measuring tools and perform basic math accurately.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Material handling, or Inventory (1+ year is preferred).
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts)

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the flow of materials to support the plant manufacturing process.
• Perform timely and accurate kitting of materials.
• Identify kit shortages and coordinate solutions with purchasing.
• Collaborate with departments to meet on-time goals.
• Flex to different warehouse areas to achieve department goals.
• Maintain 5S standards in the department.
• Update data in ERP/Production systems and status boards.
• Complete paperwork and data entry for the department.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Safely operate JIB cranes to move components.
• Contribute to safety initiatives and improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by plant leadership.
