Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. is hiring a Coil Operator III for the Bender/Stacker area on 1st shift at our Milford, DE facility. You will work on coil manufacturing, assembly, and related equipment setup, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.

The role emphasizes developing technical skills, supporting production goals, and collaborating across teams to optimize processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure and perform basic fractional calculations.
• Competent in reading blueprints and reference drawings.
• Safely use power tools such as Sawzall, grinder, and other small tools.
• Know how to correctly fill out In Process Inspections and related paperwork.
• Operate pallet jacks, lift trucks, jib cranes and other material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of safety requirements associated with tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform coil manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, cleanup, and preparation for shipment per specifications.
• Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment including benders and stackers; inspect and document maintenance.
• Perform tubing preparation and coil assembly activities (shearing, stacking, spacing, squaring, beveling, defect repair, galvanizing removal).
• Load, unload, move, stock, and transport materials and finished products using cranes, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Ensure product quality through in-process inspections and timely escalation of defects.
• Own personal and team safety by following all safety requirements and PPE standards.
• Follow ISO requirements, standard work instructions, and 5S practices to support excellence.
• Meet production goals while flexing across production functions as needed.
• Continuously develop technical skills, product knowledge, and cross-functional capabilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, sustainability, and waste-reduction initiatives.
