Job summary

Vomela is seeking a Kitting Lead to supervise end-to-end kitting operations within our Minnesota facility. You will manage material allocation, sequencing for production lines, and cross-functional collaboration with production and quality teams.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete kitting process from start to finish, ensuring materials are prepared and delivered to production on time.

• Conduct regular audits to identify opportunities for efficiency and implement process changes to reduce errors.
• Develop and maintain accurate kitting documentation.
• Train and support junior team members to maintain high performance and knowledge.

Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (8 hours)

Job Summary

The Kitting Lead oversees the complete kitting process, ensuring materials are accurately prepared and delivered to production on time.

• Manage the kitting process from start to finish, including planning, material allocation, and delivery to production lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production and quality, to ensure accurate and timely kitting.
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas of improvement and implement process changes to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
• Develop and maintain accurate kitting documentation.
• Train and support junior team members to ensure a high level of performance and knowledge.
• Analyze data to track kitting performance and provide insights for strategic planning.

Production employees may work across multiple areas of the operation, including machine operation, material preparation, finishing, packaging, quality inspection, and general production support.
