The Vomela Companies is seeking a Kitting Lead to oversee the complete kitting process onsite in St. Paul, MN on the 2nd shift.

The role offers a pay rate of $22.75 to $25.00 per hour and opportunities to collaborate with production and quality teams in a full-service visual communications environment. You will manage planning, material allocation, and delivery to production lines, conduct audits, develop documentation, train junior staff, and analyze data to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

Rate of Pay: $22.75 - $25.00 USD/hour

Job Summary

The Kitting Lead oversees the complete kitting process, ensuring materials are accurately prepared and delivered to production on time.

What You'll Do...

• Manage the kitting process from start to finish, including planning, material allocation, and delivery to production lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production and quality, to ensure accurate and timely kitting.
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas of improvement and implement process changes to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
• Develop and maintain accurate kting documentation.
• Train and support junior team members to ensure a high level of performance and knowledge.
• Analyze data to track kitting performance and provide insights for strategic planning.

• Production employees may work across multiple areas of the operation, including machine operation, material preparation, finishing, packaging, quality inspection, and general production support.
