Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembly Technician at multiple levels to assemble fixtures, signage, displays, and other custom products in a manufacturing setting. You will follow work orders and BOMs, use measuring tools, and operate drills and saws to build assemblies with precision and safety.

Depending on experience, you may support electrical plug-and-play builds, assist with installations, and help with inventory, packaging, and general shop upkeep.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 months in manufacturing or assembly roles.
• Able to read work orders, BOMs, and blueprints.
• Proficient with tape measures and basic measuring tools.
• Experience using hand and power tools (drills, saws, impact drills).
• Basic electrical assembly skills including soldering and wiring.
• Detail-oriented with reliability and safe work practices.
• Willingness to support on-site installations and general shop tasks.
• Experience as lead assembler or technical resource at Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components per work orders and BOMs, ensuring accuracy.
• Verify dimensions with tape measures and measuring tools.
• Operate drills, table saws, chop saws, and other shop tools.
• Build assembly kits and prepare parts for production or shipment.
• Read BOMs, blueprints, and work instructions to assemble correctly.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks with high quality.
• Lead on-site installations when required and support floor team.
• Assist with inventory control, packing, shipping, and shop cleanup.
