Job summary

Midnight Oil is seeking a Kitting & Assembly General Worker to perform duties across the line, assisting Line Leads to keep assembly flowing smoothly while maintaining high quality. You will participate in line audits and handle material movement with a forklift.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and forklift certification. Shift hours are 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, with opportunities to contribute to cost-effective manufacturing and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent work experience.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all Kitting & Assembly level duties.
• Assist Line Leads to supervise Kitting & Assembly lines in flow and work assignments.
• Assist Line Leads to keep lines moving as efficiently as possible without compromising quality.
• Aid Line Leads to ensure accuracy on their Kitting line.
• Perform line audits.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and finished goods.
• Report issues to Supervisor regarding temporary workers or employees.
• Follow safety rules and company procedures.
