Job summary

Paycor is seeking a detail oriented production operator to perform preventive maintenance on lifts, support line readiness, and ensure proper inventory handling. The role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow checklists, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

You will assist on the line, participate in changeovers, scan completed production, and maintain 5S standards in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must complete Powered Industrial Truck training, test and obtain license
• Basic computer skills required
• No attendance warnings
• Working knowledge of plant layout
• Strong housekeeping / 5S standards
• Knowledge of FIFO preferred
• Self-driven and detail oriented
• Ability to learn and execute visual management program

Responsibilities

• Must demonstrate the mechanical ability to perform all required preventative maintenance on the lifts and complete the lift checklist
• Supplying line with components to run and emptying scrap containers
• Move WIP and Finished Goods from the line to storage areas and ensure proper placement
• Willing to work hours including overtime
• Assist on the line and in line changeovers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the leader
• Scan completed production into inventory

Responsibilities

• Must demonstrate the mechanical ability to perform all required preventative maintenance on the lifts along with filing out the proper checklist for the lift
• Suppling line with components to run, Emptying scrap containers
• Will be responsible for moving WIP and Finished Goods from the line to storage areas and ensuring that they are handled properly and put in the correct place
• Must be willing and able to work the hours needed including overtime
• Must assist on the line when needed and assist in changeovers at the line
• Is responsible for other duties as assigned by the leader
• Scanning of completed production into inventory

Eligibility/Criteria Qualifications

• Ability to complete Powered Industrial Truck training, test and obtain license including proof of proper vision
• Basic computer skills required
