Job summary

Grist House Craft Brewery in Oakdale, PA is hiring a Kitcheneer for our busy kitchen. This BOH role blends cooking, prep, and catering support as part of a fast-paced team.

You'll work 20-35 hours per week with weekend shifts, non-exempt hourly pay up to $180/day. We value passion, reliability, and a love for good beer and great food.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience preferred (line cook, prep, or catering).
• Solid knife skills and familiarity with safe food handling.
• Food safety awareness; ServSafe certification is a bonus.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during peak times.
• Reliable and flexible with evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep, line cooking, and station setup.
• Prepare and present dishes with quality and consistency.
• Support catering events and food expediting as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized BOH stations and equipment.
• Coordinate with FOH to ensure timely service.
• Assist with inventory and stocking when required.
