Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker at Belmont University to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across production and service areas. You will clean equipment and spaces, transport supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown as directed.

The role requires flexibility with shifts and a reliable attendance record. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, no prior experience required, and knowledge of sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and basic food safety concepts.
• No related work experience required.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or in a dishwasher.
• Cleans and sanitizes tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, floors; vacuums as needed.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment with chemicals to maintain sanitary standards.
• Restocks soap, towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Able to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
