Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker at Saint Louis University. This role supports kitchen and facility operations by cleaning and sanitizing production and service areas, handling waste, and assisting with setup and breakdown.

You will be part of a team that values quality, efficiency, and a safe work environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, no required prior experience, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.

Responsabilités

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using sanitizing chemicals to meet standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or other mobility required.
• Stand for long shifts; may exceed 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time; reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned per account.
