Job summary

del Lago Resort & Casino in the Finger Lakes region is seeking a Kitchen Utility team member to maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, china, silverware, glassware, pots and pans and ensure clean ware is replenished on their shift.

The role emphasizes safe chemical handling, staff training, banquet set-up and breakdown, and adherence to policies to support fast-paced food & beverage operations. Training and license requirements may be provided as part of growth with the team.

Qualifications

• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach and stretch.
• Lift at least 75 lbs.
• Communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
• Read at a level sufficient to understand MSDS paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Direct and develop Kitchen Utility staff and distribute workload to maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, china, silver, glassware, pots and pans.
• Train Kitchen Utility staff on chemical safety and sanitary handling of equipment and utensils.
• Responsible for banquet set-up and breakdown on assigned shift.
• Assign duties as provided by management.
