Paradies Lagardère in Grand Rapids, inside GRR International Airport, seeks a Kitchen Utility Staff member to support daily kitchen operations. You will help with dishwashing, sanitation, prep support, and stocking to keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen utility is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in all areas of the kitchen, including dishwashing, equipment, floors, and surfaces.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring efficient and organized dishwashing procedures.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, such as peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients, under the supervision of the kitchen staff.
• Support the kitchen team in organizing and stocking supplies, including food ingredients, cleaning chemicals, and utensils.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen storage area, including proper storage of supplies and equipment.
• Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling, following proper procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including assisting with plating and garnishing dishes.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
• Take direction from the kitchen manager and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment.
