Job summary

The Philadelphia Country Club is seeking a Kitchen Utility to support the culinary team at the Main Clubhouse in Gladwyne, PA. This role focuses on keeping kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces clean and ready for service, while assisting with basic prep tasks and maintaining food safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and understand sanitation practices. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

About the Role:

The Kitchen Utility position is essential to maintaining the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen environment at the Main Clubhouse. This role involves supporting the culinary team by ensuring that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces are kept in pristine condition. The Kitchen Utility staff will play a crucial role in food preparation by assisting with basic tasks and ensuring that all ingredients are readily available. Additionally, this position contributes to the overall guest experience by maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, which is vital for food safety and quality. Ultimately, the Kitchen Utility team member helps create a positive and productive atmosphere that allows the culinary team to focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
