Job summary

Holiday by Atria in Normal, IL is seeking a Kitchen Utility Worker to help serve meals and keep dishwashing and dining areas clean and organized, following Holiday procedures.

You will assist with food preparation, set up carts and trays, deliver meals as needed, and support the Food Services team to ensure safe, efficient kitchen operations. A high school education and good English communication are expected.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• General knowledge of safe food-handling practices.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability and willingness to follow standards and procedures, and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash and store dishes; clean dishwashing area and dining spaces; log dishwasher temperatures.
• Set up serving carts, prepare water carafes, serve meals and deliver trays to rooms as needed.
• Assist with food preparation and support the Food Services team for safe, smooth kitchen operation.
• Put away deliveries and reset dining tables for the next meal.
• Other duties as assigned.
