Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. seeks a Kitchen Utility Worker to support meal service for residents. You will wash and store dishes, assist with meal setup, and help maintain clean dining areas according to Holiday procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation as assigned, delivering trays, and performing other duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• General knowledge of safe food-handling practices.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability and willing to follow standards and procedures, and accept direction & training and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following Holiday procedures. Clean the dishwashing area, food-serving areas and equipment, dining room tables and chairs; vacuum and clean the dining room area.
• Assist in setting up serving carts for meals; prepare water carafes; serve breakfast cereals and bread; help serve meals at residents' tables and deliver trays to residents' rooms when needed.
• Assist with food preparation as assigned and work as part of the Food Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe kitchen operation.
• Put away deliveries, set dining tables for next meal, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
