Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) to ensure our culinary team has clean pots and dishware for residents. You will play a key role in delivering meals and maintaining a spotless dishwashing area in a community-focused kitchen.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and able to work weekends/holidays. Prior experience in senior living or hospitality is valued, with a competitive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card with understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.
• 6–12 months dishwasher/kitchen support experience is a plus, healthcare/hospitality experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to established protocols.
• Dry and store cleaned items properly in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and floors.
• Remove trash, recycling, and food waste to keep the kitchen organized.
• Clean mats and garbage pails; sanitize food prep surfaces and storage areas.
• Support kitchen staff during meal prep by replenishing supplies and equipment.
