Job summary

HarborChase, LLC. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a dedicated Utility Associate to support the food and beverage team with dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and prep area upkeep.

You will assist in ordering and storing supplies, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and notify supervisors of any equipment issues. A high school diploma is required; cooking for large groups and knowledge of food-handling regulations and safety procedures are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Experience cooking for large groups preferred.
• Knowledge of state food-handling regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and fire safety procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of fire and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Dish and pot washing and general cleaning in kitchen and dining area.
• Assist in ordering and storage of food and non-food products.
• Sets up and maintains the pot and dish washing area.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment and work surfaces.
• Empties trash containers as required.
• Assists in the preparation of food as directed by supervisor.
• Notify Dir. of Food and Beverage of equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen.
• Take ownership for associate’s safety and residents' safety.
• Disclose any medication that might impair performance.
