Qualifications

• Must have a high school education.
• Experience in cooking for large groups is a plus.
• Knowledge of state food-handling and kitchen regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and fire and safety procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, and kitchen areas per schedules and procedures (kitchen and dining room).
• Assist in ordering and storage of food and non-food items.
• Set up and maintain the pot and dishwashing area; distribute clean dishes and utensils.
• Sanitize production equipment and work surfaces; maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.
• Empty trash and maintain sanitation in all areas as directed.
• Assist in food preparation as directed by supervisor.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to the Director of Food and Beverage.
