Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver outstanding customer service in a busy deli environment. You will engage with customers, help keep the deli stocked and clean, and prepare a variety of deli items with guidance and training provided.

No prior experience is required; we will train you. The role may involve lifting, working in temperature-controlled areas, and possible cross-training in other store operations as needed.

Responsabilidades

• General customer service duties, answer questions about menu offerings, and address customer needs.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products such as salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps and parfait cups.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
