Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member in Oklahoma. You will deliver friendly customer service, answer questions about menu items, and help keep the deli, coffee, and fountain bars stocked and clean. No previous experience is required—we’ll train you and help you grow.

You will prepare deli items like salads, wraps, fresh fruit, and parfaits and follow safety and quality guidelines. You may cross-train in cashier, maintenance, or leadership roles as needed.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we will train you.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service, answer questions about menu offerings, and assist store cashier team members with deli and coffee areas.
• Prepare deli products per guides, including salads, fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness according to company policies.
• Cross-train in other roles such as store cashier or maintenance as needed.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
