Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to brighten customers’ days with friendly service while keeping the deli area clean and stocked. You’ll interact with people from all walks of life and learn through on-the-job training.

No experience is required; we will teach you. You may prepare deli items, help with coffee and fountain bars, and possibly cross-train in other departments during shifts. Love’s values growth and a supportive, team-focused environment.

• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service, answer questions about menu offerings, and assist deli/cascier teams in maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Prepare deli products per guides, including salads, fresh fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups.
• Follow company food safety policies and procedures.
• Cross-train in other store roles such as cashier or maintenance as needed.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
