Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member in Columbus, MS. You will interact with customers, keep the deli stocked and clean, and prepare items like salads, sandwiches, fruit, and parfaits. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, safe food handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn other duties across the store.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products per designated preparation guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.).
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions using approved methods and technologies.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles when needed.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions:
