Bavarian Inn Restaurant is hiring a Kitchen Team Member (Hot Line + Cold Prep) for seasonal, part-time hours. Wage is $15/hour with shifts from 11am to 7pm, 12pm to 9pm, and 3pm to close.

The role involves plating and preparing meals, maintaining quality and temperature, and keeping a high-volume kitchen running smoothly as thousands of guests are served daily. Responsibilities

• Hot Line (Steaming table) duties: maintain temperatures and quality; portion items for guests; communicate with servers and cooks.
• Cold Prep, Salads & Desserts: prepare cold items, plates, and batches; ensure proper temperature and presentation.
• Assist in keeping a high-volume kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Hot Line(Steam Table):Buffet style food line primarily focused on hotsides accompanying our famous Family Style Chicken dinners: mashed potatoes,gravy, buttered noodles, vegetable, and of course the chicken! Team members areresponsible for the maintenance of temperatures and quality of food items inaddition to monitoring and portioning of serving sizes to be taken out toguests. Openly communicates with dining room servers requesting food itemswhile maintaining constant communication with cooks as to needs for additionalitems.
• Cold Prep, Salads & Desserts:Buffet style food line focused on thecold sides accompanying our famous Family Style Chicken dinners: coleslaw,cranberry relish, pasta salad, side salads, and ice cream. Team members areresponsible for maintaining temperature and quality of food items as well asmonitoring and portioning of serving sizes to be taken out to guests. Thisposition is also responsible for preparing batches of coleslaw, pasta salad,etc. in addition to plating cold plates such as salads, sandwiches, anddesserts for presentation to guests.

PhysicalRequirements

• Ability tostand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
• Ability to lift/push/pullup to 50 pounds
