Stonefire Grill is seeking a Heart of the House team member to prepare food items with the correct method to achieve optimal taste, texture, quality, yield and appearance. You will keep the kitchen clean and assist in other areas as needed, while following safety guidelines.

The role is non-exempt, paid hourly, with a tip pool. The position emphasizes teamwork, serving guests, and adhering to the restaurant's mission and standards.

Qualifications

• Has positive attitude and works well with others.
• Clear communication in English with managers and staff.
• Able to read recipes and use scales/measuring tools.
• Able to stand, lift up to 35 pounds, and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Maintains team and guest focus while performing duties.
• Prepares food items as described in the Production Book.
• Safely operates grill and sandwich equipment; learns other kitchen equipment.
• Adheres to Health Department and sanitation standards.
• Keeps work area clean and organized; minimizes waste.
