Qualifications

• Ability to read instructions in English or Spanish and follow recipes.
• California Food Handler certification required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items using correct methods to ensure taste, texture, quality, yield and appearance.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and organized; assist in other kitchen areas as needed.
• Safely operate grill and sandwich prep equipment; learn other kitchen devices as needed.
• Adhere to Health Department sanitation standards and label foods as required.
• Communicate with Kitchen Manager regarding product needs and attend team meetings.
