Job summary

Burger King in Glendale Estates, Alabama, is seeking a TEAM MEMBER to work across stations—Broiler, Sandwich Prep, Fry, Specialty Sandwich Board, and Expeditor—to ensure fast, quality service.

You will prepare and assemble orders, monitor cooking times, wrap and label sandwiches, and keep the kitchen clean and organized. This role supports food safety and customer satisfaction in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport boxes of hamburger and whopper patties and buns to broiler and place on conveyor for heating.
• Assemble sandwiches with condiments, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and wrap or box finished products with proper labeling.
• Monitor cooking oil levels, operate fryers, prepare baskets of fries, and maintain food quality and timing.
• Toast buns and prepare specialty sandwiches (ham and cheese, chicken) as ordered, heating items as needed.
• Assist in expediting orders, collecting prepared foods, and handling condiments, napkins, and utensils for delivery.
• Monitor holding times for cooked foods, maintain kitchen cleanliness, wash trays and pans, and perform routine sanitization and equipment cleaning.
• During closings, shut down and sanitize equipment, clean hoods, and dispose of used oil safely.
