Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) to join Applebee’s Legacy Apple operation. You will prepare menu items according to recipes, maintain plate quality, and work your assigned prep and station.

You’ll be cross-trained across kitchen roles, uphold sanitary standards, and complete daily cleaning tasks while supporting a friendly, family-oriented team. This is a hands-on position requiring reliable attendance and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on shelves.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives and other food prep equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
• Able to respond in emergencies to avoid danger.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s recipes and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work and set up workstation.
• Maintain sanitation and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
