Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group seeks a Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member) to join their family-owned team in the Applebee’s footprint. You’ll handle assigned prep work and cook stations, maintaining high standards in presentation, quality and cook times while cross-training across kitchen roles.

You will learn recipes and specifications, work with a supportive team, and contribute to a friendly, community-focused dining experience.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation tools.
• Mobility required during the full shift.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s Recipes, Plate Presentations and specifications (50%*).
• Complete all assigned prep work (15%*).
• Set up workstation according to station diagram (15%*).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%*).
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift (5%*).
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects (5%*).
