Job summary

Dash In is seeking a Kitchen Associate to join our fast-paced, 24/7 retail kitchen team. The starting wage is $15.50 per hour with a $1 per hour premium for overnight shifts. Morning shift runs 6 am-2 pm and evenings 2-11 pm.

You will craft meals, ensure safety and sanitation, restock, organize prep areas, operate equipment, and interact with guests to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program).
• 1 year of food service experience, line cook or prep cook experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Monitor prep levels and keep station ready for service.
• Restock, organize, and maintain a clean prep area.
• Receive deliveries and store them properly.
• Maintain kitchen appearance and cleanliness.
• Engage with guests to provide a friendly experience.
• Operate food service equipment like fryers and slicers.
• Assist with lifting and handling heavy containers.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year of food service experience, line cook or prep cook experience preferred
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• Active ServSafe certification, or a similar qualification
• Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
