Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to engage with customers and maintain a clean, stocked deli area. Training is provided for those new to the role, and you will support multiple service counters including deli, coffee, and fountain bars.

The position emphasizes friendly customer service, food safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling and immediate hiring.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we will teach you.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service, answer questions about menu offerings, assist deli and fountain areas with cleanliness and fresh offerings.
• Prepare deli products per guidelines: salads, fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups.
• Follow food safety procedures and company policies using guided methods and tools.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier or Maintenance as needed.
• Move and lift up to 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
