Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Morris, IL is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support deli preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean, stocked area. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

You will handle salads, sandwiches, and fresh fruits, follow food-safety protocols, and may cross-train in other roles. The job offers flexible scheduling, paid time off, and benefits after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
