Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in the United States is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to greet customers, maintain a clean, stocked deli, and provide top-notch service. No experience?

Training will be provided as you learn to prepare fresh deli items and assist with the cafe and other duties. You’ll join a team that values safety, flexibility, and career growth, with company-funded tuition assistance, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities to expand into leadership roles within a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Customer service duties and POS familiarity.
• Ability to follow deli prep guides and prepare items.
• Willingness to cross-train in other store departments.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service, answer questions about menu, and assist with deli area cleanliness and stocking.
• Prepare deli items per guides: salads, wraps, fruit, parfaits, etc.
• Follow food safety procedures and company policies across shifts.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
