Job summary

CooperRiis in Asheville, NC is seeking a full-time kitchen support worker to wash service ware, pots and pans, and help keep the dish room clean and sanitary.

You will store and organize dishes, assist with meal prep and serving as directed by the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, and participate in basic cleaning tasks. Starting pay is $16 per hour, with increases based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extend periods of time.
• Ability to work with variously chemicals associated with cleaning and sanitizing.

Responsibilities

• Washing all service ware, pots and pans, ect.
• Stores and organizes all dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, and other equipment
• Keeps dish room and all work areas and equipment clean and sanitary
• Keeps dish room floor and floor drains clean
• Empties trash, recycling, and compost
• Performs other cleaning related duties as directed
• Performs serving duties as directed by the Executive Chef
• Performs meal prep duties as directed by the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs

• Friday , Saturday and Sunday
• 9 am - 7 pm *guaranteed hours
