Job summary

The Resort at Glade Springs is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher to support our kitchen and dining operations in Daniels. This role primarily covers the evening shift and involves cleaning, sanitizing, and basic food prep tasks as directed by the Chef and Food & Beverage Manager.

You will wash dishes, assist with stocking, maintain sanitation standards, and help with trash disposal and storage. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment and attention to detail are

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using dish machine or by hand.
• Assists in stocking and rotating incoming products.
• Supports basic food preparation as directed by the Chef or Food & Beverage Manager.
• Assists in receiving deliveries, stocking, and rotating incoming product.
• Empties trash and recycling; disposes of garbage properly.
• Stores dishes and wares in proper areas; maintains organization.
• Performs daily cleaning such as dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods, and exhaust systems.
• Maintains sanitation standards in assigned areas.
• Sweeps and mops floors; reports equipment issues to supervisor.
• Troubleshoots dishwasher machine malfunctions and alerts supervisor.

About the Role:

Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and dining room equipment, keeps kitchen work areas clean, including dry storage and walk in cooler, empties, and removes all trash and recycling and completes assigned prep work in accordance with Chef's specifications. This position will mostly be evening shift.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Include the following, but other duties may be assigned.

• Washes dishes, pots, pans, etc., in dish machine or by hand.
• Assists in stocking and rotating of incoming products.
• Assists in basic food preparation as assigned by the Chef or Food & Beverage Manager.
• Assist in receiving food deliveries, stocking, and rotating of incoming product.
• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods, and exhaust system.
• Maintains sanitation standards in assigned areas.
• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdown.
• Completes assigned prep work and cleaning duties.
• Troubles-shoots dishwasher machine malfunction and alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdown.
