Job summary

Shaner Hotels at Toftrees Golf Resort in State College, PA, is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor for The Field Burger & Tap. You will lead the kitchen team, plan and prep, ensure quality service, and uphold safety and sanitation standards in all outlets.

The role requires at least one year as a line cook with supervisory experience, strong communication, and a high school diploma or culinary training. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; you will train staff and maintain orderly, clean workspaces

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a line cook; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with guests, management and co-workers clearly.
• High school graduate or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret BEOs, safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlets in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications.
• Assist with the direction, training, and monitoring performance of kitchen staff.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
