Job summary

Aloft Minneapolis, owned by Sherman Associates, is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to help lead the hotel’s food and beverage operations and staff. You will assist in hiring, inventory, and ensuring guest satisfaction while upholding food safety standards.

The role focuses on supervising back-of-house and coordinating events, with pay range and benefits outlined, including health, retirement and PTO offerings. Strong English communication and hospitality experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years supervisory experience in luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, club, or service industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficiency with computers and programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading the overall operation of the hotel’s food and beverage operations.
• Help with hiring front of house staff and involved in purchasing inventory.
• Contribute to Food & Beverage department profitability and guest satisfaction scores.
• Train banquet servers and line cooks on service, food safety and health standards.
• Ensure safety, quality, and cleanliness; monitor equipment and inventory; handle staff scheduling and disciplinary actions.
