Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH seeks a Restaurant Kitchen Supervisor to support the Restaurant Kitchen Manager in all kitchen functions, including purchasing, preparation, and maintaining quality standards, sanitation, and cleanliness.

You will train associates in cooking methods, plate presentation, portion and cost control, while upholding the Lead with Love promise and delivering extraordinary dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, problem solving, supervisory and time management skills.
• Must multi-task and coordinate large group activities.
• Ability to work well under stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Strong listening and communication with associates, supervisors, managers, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Kitchen Manager in all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness.
• Train associates in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control and sanitation and cleanliness.
• Lead and inspire the team to deliver extraordinary guest experiences.
• Maintain high levels of professionalism and positive guest impressions across the Kalahari team.
