The Kitchen Supervisor position is a key part of our team, responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including cooking, food prep, logistics, and daily management. Responsibilities also include managing inventory, ordering supplies, scheduling shifts, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

To succeed, candidates should have a strong culinary and management background, excellent communication skills, leadership, and organizational abilities. The primary goal is to build and maintain a high-performing team that meets financial and company objectives while supporting the Kitchen Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Monitor and perform inventory assessments regularly.
  • Ensure all food storage complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cost reports and manage expenses related to food, beverage, labor, and controllables.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
  • Work 8 to 10-hour shifts, any day of the week.
Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant/kitchen management or supervisory experience.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of how kitchen responsibilities relate to other hotel and food & beverage operations.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including long hours.
  • Experience in hiring, training, and empowering staff with ongoing feedback.
  • Strong guest service skills and ability to handle stressful situations tactfully.
