Job Overview

As a Dishwasher/Steward you work in a commercial resort kitchen, performing cleaning, sweeping, mopping, equipment maintenance, trash duties, and ensuring safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing machines.
• Clean, sweep, and mop kitchen floors and equipment.
• Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Report maintenance and repair problems to supervisor.
• Maintain logs for water temperature and kitchen safety precautions.
• Provide excellent customer service and kitchen support.

Qualifications

• 21 years old or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform general kitchen tasks such as bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for an entire shift.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Fast, efficient, self‑motivated, with a positive can‑do attitude.
• Experience in commercial kitchen or hospitality is a plus.
