Job summary

Resorts World New York City is seeking a Steward to maintain health and sanitation across all food and beverage areas. The role collaborates with culinary and front-of-house teams to achieve service and financial goals, demonstrating guest-focused dedication and a proactive mindset.

The Steward will maintain clean kitchens, support safety protocols, and assist in daily operations to ensure a guest‑focused, efficient environment.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain the appropriate license where required.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
One (1) year experience in related field.

Responsibilities

Cleans and maintains floors and walls in designated food service areas.
Cleans and sanitizes the entire kitchen area.
Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures.
Adheres to safety and sanitation guidelines for chemicals and equipment.
Maintains inspection readiness at all times.
Uses and maintains equipment per manufacturer and department guidelines.
Reports issues or maintenance defects to the Executive/Sous Chef and Shift Manager.
Demonstrates guest-focused service and collaborative teamwork to support company goals.
Contributes to best practices to support financial and guest relations outcomes.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
