Casino Queen is hiring a full-time steward to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced kitchen environment in East St. Louis, IL. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, stocking stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

The role requires at least a HS diploma, 21+ years old, ability to work weekends/nights/holidays, and the ability to obtain an Illinois Gaming License. Vaccination for Hep A is required before starting.

Qualifications

• 1 year stewarding experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Hep A vaccination on or before first day of work
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays
• Able to communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and coworkers
• Deep clean and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure longevity and safety
• Sweep, mop, and buff kitchen floors as needed
• Keep workstation and surrounding areas clean, stocked, and organized
• Adhere to health department rules and time/temperature controls
• Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
