Job summary

Bally's Corporation in East St. Louis, IL is seeking a dedicated Steward to support kitchen operations. You will provide excellent guest service, maintain a clean and sanitary work area, and assist with equipment cleaning to meet health and safety standards.

Requirements include a Food Handler Certification, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to work weekends, nights and holidays. A valid Illinois Gaming License is also required for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year stewarding experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Hep A vaccination on or before first day of work.
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and maintain a respectful environment.
• Regularly participate in departmental and company meetings.
• Deep clean and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure longevity and proper results.
• Sweep, mop, and buff kitchen floors as needed.
• Keep workstation and surrounding areas stocked, clean, safe, and organized.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment while upholding health regulations.
