Job summary

Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star is seeking a dedicated dishwasher/steward to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. You will sort, wash, and store dishware, assist cooks, and keep work areas spotless for a smooth service.

This on-site role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with weekend availability and a strong commitment to safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

• High safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers certification or obtain on hire.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware and run through the dish or pot machine.
• Wash ware and replace in designated storage areas.
• De-tarnish and polish silver for proper appearance.
• Clean kettles, pots, pans promptly so cooks can work.
• Transport and clean utensils and service ware for kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment.
