Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Steward to support kitchen operations at Alltown Fresh. Responsibilities include washing and chopping ingredients, stocking shelves, communicating needs to the Chef, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role requires basic food prep skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic knife skills are required.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Basic food preparation skills.
• Understanding of safe food handling and storage.

Responsibilities

• Use state-of-the-art equipment to prep fresh ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat and other meal prep.
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves and maintain an organized workspace.
• Communicate inventory and kitchen needs to Chef.
• Follow safe food handling procedures.
• Rotate stock items and store produce at proper temperatures.
• Own the dish station, ensuring it is set up, stocked, and cleaned.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Empty trash daily and maintain a sanitary work area.
• Make catering deliveries as needed.
