Job summary

DoubleTree Dallas Near the Galleria is seeking a Kitchen Steward to help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas. You will assist with setup and breakdown of meetings and events, support servers, and ensure proper dishwashing and sanitation practices.

The role requires ability to lift heavy items, stand for long shifts, and follow all safety policies. Commitment to guest service and teamwork is essential in this bustling hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Must be able to stand, walk, or sit and perform essential job functions for duration of shift.
• Ability to lift/move tables, chairs, and podiums up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock and cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of meetings and events.
• Assist servers with delivery and bussing; replenish as needed.
• Transport dirty ware to dishwashing area and ensure proper cleaning.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies.
• Provide safe work environment and maintain neat appearance.
