Job summary

Quest Food Management Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time kitchen helper to perform dishwashing, sanitation, and related duties in our school/food service environment. The role supports daily kitchen operations and maintains high cleanliness standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic arithmetic, and Food Handler certification where applicable. Training will cover safety, sanitation, and proper equipment handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic as well as to understand measurements and conversions.
• Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Handler certification).

Responsibilities

• Cascades Quest's vision and values through actions and communication.
• Set up cutting boards, trash cans, mats, dish machines and pot sinks.
• Wash all soiled kitchen equipment, pots, pans, and small wares per sanitation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, kitchen, cafeteria and loading dock.
• Distribute and store clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Record concentrations of sanitizing solutions in dish machine and 3-compartment sink.
