Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our dining services in daily kitchen operations. You will wash and unload dishes, maintain cleanliness, and assist the culinary team while upholding health and safety standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, positive attitude, and reliable communication with residents, families, and staff. Prior experience is helpful but not required, and we value friendly, cooperative individuals who can stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
